I would almost say that this pen redefines what an entry level pen is. Really nice pen to use, no bells and whistles. Their customer service is peerless.I'm a twenty-something who has always struggled with productivity. You can get a piston converter for the Metropolitan! They work well for cleaning the pen, though. You can use all kinds of brilliant and colorful inks to create exactly the effect you are aiming for. I still have so many of them, though; time to pull some out and use them again. Good pen, but I find the ridge between the barrel and the grip section uncomfortable after a while.
