Heard about this book from a friend and bought it sight unseen. He is an exceptional storyteller. Perhaps as important is his ability to write about the Jurist's personalities and their judicial philosophy providing the reader with the thought processes that go to work behind the decision making. Based on a series of background interviews and archival material, Toobin pulls back the black robes cloaking the personalities and political realities that shape the workings of the Court.

I suppose it might be dull for someone who is entirely uninterested in history or justice or politics but for anyone with even a slight interest in these things, I highly recommend.
