The massive facade conceals an ornate interior filled with objects of great historical and cultural merit. Such beautiful photos! The present church on the site is a large stone Baroque construction, completed in 1606 and still standing despite earthquakes, invasions, and typhoons. One look at the church and I knew why my friend made it a point to get married here. I hear where you are coming from as far as abuse of authority. ( You would see that on my next blog.)
