Can't say its the best steak I have ever eaten, but it is good and reasonably priced. No one has ever "Pushed the salad bar on me" This is a Family owned and run business and they are always friendly and helpful.This restaurant is average.

Could really use a bit more seasoning in their fry batter and a facelift, but we will probably return.Cheaper dinner selection, good food. Brought a bunch of Boys here thinking it was a good idea because of variety on the hot and cold salad bar.... My 3 yr old wouldn't eat the Mac n cheese, my 6 yr old nephew said " it tastes like nothing!" Chicken was good. Had to wait until the next morning to write my review because I was so full from last nights dinner at the Frontier. You can't eat like this in the Twin Cities for that price.Great place to eat. I have spent alot more at other places that wasn't as good.Its a terrible place to eat.on more than one occasion i and my family have experienced terrible service,the waitresses have an attitude of not wanting to be there and boy do they take that out on customers.Its not really that clean(dirty glasses ect).The food is very overpriced for the quality that it is.The salad bar is usually mostly older items that to me taste fresh out of a box and twice frozen.And BE AWARE if you pay for a burgar and add on $4 something dollars for there SMALL salad bar and you can't finish YOUR burgar and would like to take your $10 HALF of a burgar home they treat you like a criminal and tell you its NOT ALLOWED!seems like if you buy a burgar it should be yours to do what you please with just like anything else you'd buy but according to this place even if you buy something its not yours.I my friends, family  and extented family have happily chosen never to eat there again.the food is good,  staff could use some cheering up,  salad bar is good,  family atmoshere    great burgersFood is ok. The buffet has a fair selection, and my grandma kept raving about how their lettuce is fresh cut and not poured out from a bag. Not this girl!! Located in Princeton, Frontier Steak House's steaks are cooked to perfection and filled with juicy flavors. The building recently went through a minor upgrade of carpet and booths along with replacement of some tables so it doesn't feel so dated anymore. A real value. I could see this a Great place if you were serving a large group of young kids and or old folks, that's about it.Sure the allyoucaneat salad bar may not have top of the line ingredients in it, but there's plenty to choose from and who's going to argue with a chocolate/vanilla/swirl ice cream sundae bar with multiple toppings? During the week they have an excellent lunch buffet with all you can eat chicken and it also includes the salad bar and soup too. Coming from the city, I expected a bit more, but sometimes I forget things feel and work differently in the outskirts.Great food, great prices, great service. Waitress was hilarious and friendly. Prices are lower, staff is friendly and professional. That was wonderful. We've never had any trouble with any of the wait staff being rude or making us feel rushed. You should check it out if you've haven't been there in a while. Their buffet is simple but really good. Frontier will continue to be a go-to place for us!The Frontier steakhouse is pretty decent. To the reviewer that said its not a steakhouse---we have have several steaks here and 90% of them have been excellent. My meal of salad, prime rib, beverages, and dessert came in under $20. are nothing to write home about but the quality is decent for a buffet.-bone was excellent, and the third had the coconut shrimp. I only had the salad bar and felt ripped off at 7.99. Burgers and fries never disappoint and the baked turkey special on Sunday's is amazing. We were hungry. The Frontier steakhouse is pretty decent. The service is very good but be prepared that if you're under 50 years old or so you'll probably the the youngest people in the restaurant. We had a large group and kids and it was great. Food was great. Prices are very fair. Will be back again. It's true that you can get a decent steak here too although I would not consider this a "steakhouse" like the name states but you can actually get a decent steak here for considerably cheaper than most other places.
